Geoprobe 6625CPT/Seismic Rig

Our Geoprobe rig has been a great addition to our traditional drilling fleet, as it allows us to provide many environmental tasks, such as:

• Discreet water sampling
• Installing temporary wells
• Installing permanent prepack wells
• Obtaining discreet continuous soil samples

The Geoprobe enables most environmental work to be performed more efficiently than by using traditional drill rigs, not to mention it eliminates most — if not all — soil cuttings.

The geotechnical side of the Geoprobe offers the following:

• Cone penetration testing
• Seismic testing
• Permeability parameters
• Continuous macro/micro core sampling
• Push dilatometer

The computer used on site provides real-time GPS information along with topographical data and aerials. The data gathered for CPT and seismic can be sent directly to a client’s office via e-mail from the field.
