Wilmington, NC – Carolina Drilling, a DBA of Bridger Drilling, announces today that Ryan Bridger will lead the organization as President.
Carolina Drilling, a leading geotechnical and environmental drilling company founded in 1983 by George Bridger in Wilmington, N.C., tapped Ryan Bridger, PE to lead growth throughout the Southeast. Ryan Bridger is a geotechnical engineer by training with deep experience managing geotechnical drilling operations.
“Ryan’s experience running drilling departments, his knowledge of what engineer’s really need, and his understanding of our business position him well to grow Carolina Drilling,” said Founder and former President George Bridger who will continue working in day-to-day operations. “I’m supporting him entirely during a strategic transition. We are committed to providing the same quality service we have for decades for many more decades to come.”
Ryan Bridger earned a B.Sc. Engineering degree from N.C. State’s College of Engineering and worked as a staff engineer for Terracon in Greenville, N.C. before moving to South Florida to oversee geotechnical and drilling departments for Universal Engineering. ECS tapped him as VP to open a West Palm Beach office for them in 2007. He then led business development for commercial and residential projects for Hedrick Brothers Construction in Palm Beach County before becoming VP of Hedrick Kirco Properties, a commercial real estate developer.
“I’m drawing on my experience on both the engineering and drilling sides of the business as well as my understanding of what the developer or end user needs,” Ryan said. “We deliver the most professional drilling services to keep engineering firms moving and growing.”
Investments in staff and training as well as innovative technology that will provide engineers with real-time status alerts are just a few of the initiatives underway for 2021.
